The High and Dry Bluegrass Festival in Bend is the highlight of the year for Central Oregon Bluegrass lovers. It has been held in mid August for the past three years on forty beautiful acres just east of the Bend airport, a mere 8 miles from downtown Bend. This year, sixteen bands will perform on the main stage. Fourteen “bonus” acts will perform on the “Bonus Stage” between main stage performances. Sunday morning three bands will perform a gospel show followed by The Anvil Blasters’ performance at 2:00PM.

High and Dry Bluegrass Festival is supported in part by local businesses and interested citizens who share our_vision to assure that this American classic music is available to today’s generation and to future generations. Their support helps makes it possible to hold the admission price to just $10. The festival is free for children 12 years old and younger. Tents and RVs are welcome (no hook-ups). Camping fee for the weekend is $10 per vehicle.

The $10 admission makes it possible for one and all to spend a great weekend in a beautiful setting enjoying some of the best Bluegrass music in the Northwest, attending educational instrument and vocal workshops, and listening to great jamming until the wee hours of the morning.
