2010 High and Dry Bluegrass Festival Workshops

Workshops are on Saturday morning, August 21st. starting:

10:00 a.m.Instrument Workshops

Each Instrument workshop class will learn the same song for the following High & Dry
Megaband performance on the Main Stage at 12:30 p.m.

Karen Kassy
Stretching for Musicians: Just like an athlete, if you want an injury-free and long career in music, you need to take care of your body. In this fun workshop, learn how to stretch so that you can keep your body playing at it's best. Taught by musician and certified yoga instructor, Karen Kassy, this workshop is for open to all levels and anyone is welcome.

PARTICIPANTS: Must bring a harmonica in the Key of “C”. An inexpensive one will work just fine for this workshop. Make sure it’s in the key of “C”. Participants will learn Tab, chords, single notes, do's and don'ts, and a song which is designed to be played with the participants of the other workshops afterwards. If you are having trouble obtaining one, please feel free to contact the instructor ahead of time and he will try and assist you.
