Q: How much does it cost?
A: 10 bands for $10 bucks. This is for the entire weekend! Come early and stay late, so you get the most for your $10!  If you plan on camping there is also a $10 per vehicle camping fee.

Q: Is the Festival Handicap Friendly?
A: Yes, There is Handicap parking available, grounds accessibility as well as restroom facilities.

Q: Will there be food available?
A: Yes. There will be Mexican food, pizza and BBQ. You may also bring along your own food!

Q: Is camping available?
A: Yes. Primitive camping is available. No hook-ups. Potable water will be available on site. There is a $10/vehicle camping fee.

Q: Is alcohol permitted?
A: Yes, but there will be no alcohol vendors. Coolers OK. Please drink responsibly and please recycle!

Q: Can I bring my dog along?
A: Yes, there will be a camping area for pets with owners. Pets will not be allowed in concert area and must be on a leash. Pet owners are responsible for picking up after their pets, Thank you!

Q: Should I bring my own lawn chair for seating?
A: Yes. There is no bench seating available for the audience. Please keep others’ view in mind, so try to keep chairs low.

Q: Is there shade at the Runway Ranch?
A: Yes, in places. We will have a shade structure set-up in the main stage area for the audience. There may be some shade in some of the camping areas. Please plan to bring some portable shade and don’t forget your hats and sunscreen!

Q: Is this event appropriate for kids?
A: Yes. Kids under 12 enter free. Bluegrass music is a great family affair! There may be some designated family camping areas with quieter expectations, so stay tuned.

Q: What is jamming?
A: Jamming is what bluegrass music is all about! Please plan to bring your instruments and get together with others to make music! Big jams, little jams – it’s all a good time!

Q: What are the workshops all about?
A: The workshops are an opportunity to learn more about your instrument from one of the pro’s. Workshops will be lead by band members in each of the following: banjo, guitar, bass, mandolin, fiddle, and vocal harmony (occasionally additional workshops will be added). All workshops will use the same common song as a format to learn, and then all groups come together at the end for an all-encompassing stage performance!

Q: Are there opportunities to volunteer for the event?
A: Yes! We are in need of people to help with all sorts of duties. Please contact us if interested.

Q: Can you tell us if RV's are welcomed and if there will be RV parking?
A: Yes! RV's are welcome. There will be plenty of room for RV's to park. No hookups.

Q: Will there be adequate evening lighting or should I bring a flashlight?
A: We have gone to great measures to keep the festival area as well lighted as possible, however for additional safety measures a flashlight is recommended and encouraged.

Q: I'm wondering about your smoking policy?
A: Because the fire danger during August is so high and the fields and trees are so susceptible... the property owner requests that smokers refrain.
